DESCRIPTION
This engine was removed from an undamaged Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain that was parted out. It is an LTIO-540-J2BD and was 350HP with turbo charger. It has large main and rod journals and tongue and groove rods. It is a wide deck upstack with single drive for dual mag. It will come with everything pictured. Would work well on an airboat with a single mag with impulse coupling running one set of plugs and electronic ignition on the others. It is missing: -pistons and wrist pins (0riginals were low compression for turbo anyway) -oil pump -all six intake tube retainers and hose couplers -rocker box drain tubes (use flex hoses) -ignition system -fuel system -dip stick and tube -some hardware -one cam follower -cam shaft (had L cam that would make it run backwards on airboat). D&S Camcorp has hot grind cams for $275. The cylinders are first run non chrome and have some pitting from sitting but could be honed for airboat use or bored .0010 oversize. Crank also has some pitting from sitting.
